Recognize and embrace your brokenness.
Remember it is to mend the broken hearted that I came.
I touch, heal, and restore the broken places.
A broken spirit and a contrite heart I will not disdain,
Rather that is exactly the heart I yearn to embrace.
All have broken places.
Sins done unto.
At the moment of recognizing a broken place,
I am there,
In a tangible way,
To minister healing.
The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a contrite spirit.
The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, A broken and acontrite heart— These, O God, You will not despise.
For thus says the High and Lofty One Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: “I dwell in the high and holy place, With him who has a contrite and humble spirit, To revive the spirit of the humble, And to revive the heart of the contrite ones.
