Gentle Peace

Gentle Peace

Recognize and embrace your brokenness.
Remember it is to mend the broken hearted that I came.
I touch, heal, and restore the broken places.
A broken spirit and a contrite heart I will not disdain,
Rather that is exactly the heart I yearn to embrace.

All have broken places.
Sins done,
Sins done unto.

At the moment of recognizing a broken place,
I am there,
In a tangible way,
To minister healing.

Psalm 34:18
The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a contrite spirit.

Psalm 51:17
The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, A broken and acontrite heart— These, O God, You will not despise.

Isaiah 57:15
For thus says the High and Lofty One Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: “I dwell in the high and holy place, With him who has a contrite and humble spirit, To revive the spirit of the humble, And to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

  1. Do you have a broken heart place that needs a touch from the Healer, Jesus?
If so would you pause and invite Him to enter that place?
We all have hurt and wounded places. He is the ONE who can and will touch, heal and restore.
Sometimes our hurt places are caused by the wounds of another.
Sometimes we simply need to confess our own sin and receive forgiveness from God.
Either way, Jesus came to heal the broken places in our hearts and lives.
