Busy Busy

Busy Busy

From the HEART of ABBA:
I was writing this morning and the entire writing is on the first photo.
In order to really “see”, look at the sand under the words in the photo. All the footprints.
Look at all the busyness evidenced in the footprints. Notice how the sand near the sea is clear and not busy. Just a TOUCH of Living Water, can erase the busyness… the stress the “whatever” of life.
I am thinking of people I know… who have so much “stuff” in life. Just like all those footprints and myself as well and how just one wave of Living Water, One TOUCH from God can smooth and calm the “stuff”.

Let HOPE Arise

Let HOPE Arise

Let HOPE arise
When the road is rough
Let HOPE arise
When trials come
Let HOPE arise
When faith grows dim
Let HOPE arise
And all seem woe
Let HOPE arise

Every nook and cranny of your heart
Let HOPE arise
Every recess of your mind
Let HOPE arise
Into every desert place
Let HOPE arise
Where ever and when ever you feel weary or downtrodden
Let HOPE arise

Remember HOPE is found in a PERSON, JESUS the CHRIST, HOPE of the NATIONS
He is also aka as our ANCHOR.

Hebrews 6:19 This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and steadfast and one which enters within the veil,
Romans 15:12
And again, Isaiah says, “The Root of Jesse will spring up, one who will arise to rule over the nations; in him the Gentiles will hope.” NIV translates it as, “in his name the nations will put their hope.”

Romans 12:12 Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.

Romans 15:4 For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that through endurance and through the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.

Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.

Psalm 27:4-5 One thing have I asked of the LORD, that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to inquire in his temple. For he will hide me in his shelter in the day of trouble; he will conceal me under the cover of his tent; he will lift me high upon a rock.

Zephaniah 3:17 The LORD your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.

John 4:13-14 Jesus said to her, “Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.

Mother’s Day Reflection

Mother's Day Reflection

There is JOY in the midst of sorrow or grief. The JOY that comes from knowing someone, somewhere understands..
As Mother’s Day Approaches, I wanted to share something from a few years back.
Some of us may remember our Mother’s who are no longer with us. Other’s may remember a child who went before, or who is distant for whatever reason.
We can rest assured that there IS someone who fully understands. And that is our Lord.
Here is a writing From the Heart of GOD:
To the mothers and grandmothers, (sons and grandfathers)
Who have lost a child:
Through death
Through adoption.
Through abortion or miscarriage.
Or simply through loss.
By a relationship torn asunder.
For mother’s hearts, (or father’s)
Who forever yearn,
For one more touch,
From a child they loved.
I send to you,
My love.
I offer to each of you,
My embrace of compassionate understanding.
For those who have lost a mother:
Through adoption,
Through death,
Or any other circumstance,
I also offer you My love.
My embrace is big enough.
Soft enough and,
Strong enough.
To hold you while you weep.
I know the searing pain of a child who was lost.
As you remember your child or mother,
Step out of denial,
Perhaps for the first time about the extent of loss,
Or simply embrace the longing,
I will come to you.
As the tears flow,
Or even if the tears cannot flow,
Healing will come,
From being in my embrace of pure holy love.
I love you, Daughters. (Sons)
I love you, Mothers. Fathers)
I love you Grandmothers. (Grandfathers)
I love too, Aunts. (Uncles)
It is from within My embrace,
That your heart will find.
Comfort as well as a place of rest.
2 Cor. 1:3-4 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

Hidden Reality

Hidden Reality

Look at THIS. Last night at San Marco this is what the camera “saw”.
Often, especially when trying to capture the sun, there will be ring or a star around it. Usually the auto focus will get rid of that.
But THIS is WHAT was really there.
For the most part we can not see this detail. As I was looking at my pictures this morning I remembered that there is a verse…. 2 Cor 4:18 (NLT) which says, “So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.”
Isn’t that really good advice from the Word? Some moments within the days, I begin to feel so alone or afraid of all the “not knowns”. I KNOW God does know and I KNOW God is with us, but sometimes….I am sure you all can understand that. God reminded me just this morning that my perception is not reality. He reminded me that His Word is reality…more real than that which is easily perceived and then… looking at the photos…. He gave me an example which is vivid and “natural”.
Be blessed in whatever your personal struggle is, with the reminder that there is so much MORE than we can begin to imagine. Emmanuel is truly GOD WITH US.

Rest of GOD

Rest of GOD

From the Heart of Abba Today:
Come and come and then come again.
I never tire of listening to or snuggling My children.
Remember that verse in Isa. and the one about gathering as a hen but you would not?

Precious Child,
Allow Me,
Invite Me,
Seek Me.

Come for comfort,
For conviction,
Or simply to rest.

Whatever you do,
Especially when life is so busy,
And full of stress,

Do come…
Do NOT be like those of whom it was said,
“God longed to comfort them but they would not.”

This is what the Sovereign LORD, the Holy One of Israel, says: “In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength, but you would have none of it Isa 30:15

Luke 13:34 “Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were not willing.

Matthew 23:37
“Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were not willing.

Apparently in the Luke passage, God was speaking to the Sanhedrin or Jewish leaders. But he is also showing us his heart. He desires to gather us under his wings as a mother hen would her children, but so often we are simply not willing.

We don’t stop and spend time with Him on a daily basis.
When a crisis or time of long term stress arises we can tend to look here and there and everywhere for relief, except under the “wings” of Yeshua.

We are clearly told in Isa. that in repentance and REST is our salvation and in quietness and TRUST is our strength but so often we forget to practice what we know.
We see the same imagery in Pslam 91:4 He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
We see the invitation again in Matthew 11:28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

This is my “thinking” for today and sharing with you. ☺

Isa 28:12 To whom he said, “This is the resting place, let the weary rest”; and, “This is the place of repose”– but they would not listen.
Acts 3:19-20 Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord,
and that he may send the Messiah, who has been appointed for you–even Jesus.
Jeremiah 6:16
This is what the LORD says: “Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls. But you said, ‘We will not walk in it.’

Isaiah 32:17
The fruit of that righteousness will be peace; its effect will be quietness and confidence forever.
Hebrews 4:1
Therefore, since the promise of entering his rest still stands, let us be careful that none of you be found to have fallen short of it.
Psalm 31:20 In the shelter of your presence you hide them from all human intrigues; you keep them safe in your dwelling from accusing tongues.
Psalm 27:5
For in the day of trouble he will keep me safe in his dwelling; he will hide me in the shelter of his sacred tent and set me high upon a rock.

Psalm 32:7
You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance.

Psalm 91:1
Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.

Be Intentional

Be Intentional

Be intentional in Love.
Be intentional about letting others know you CARE.
Be intentional in Bible study.
Be intentional in Prayer.
Be intentional in HOPE.
Be intentional in Worship.
Be intentionally intentional in trusting GOD.
Be intentional in JOY.

This bird was intentionally intent on getting that bit of bread we were tossing in the air. We should be so intentional about the things that matter in life.

Can you add some “be intentionals”?

Unexpected Joy
Unexplainable jOy
Unattainable in the natural joY

Springing forth JOY!
Bubbling up JOY!

Arising from sorrow,
Or any kind of trouble.

Joy that owns the sorrow,
Admits the grief.

Yet looks,
Beside or,
Past it anyway.

Joy in the mundane things.
The smallest things.
Those little rays of hope,

That brighten the DARKest days
Or weeks,
Or months,
Or seasons.

Joy that is unEXPECTED,
In the natural.

But we are a SUPERnatural people.
We are not bound,
TO or,
BY or,
The natural world.

Lord open our eyes.
Open our hearts.

So we can see,
Beyond the current,
“Whatever it is”,

You ARE,
The source of EVERY GOOD and PERFECT gift.

Yes, even those,
Or especially those,
That are given on/in/ sometimes with
The HARDest DARKest most JOYless moments
Of our lives.

Psalm 30:5b weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning
Psalm 126:5 Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy.
