Christmas 2018

As we celebrate Christmas, may we remember the Hope we were offered that first Christmas when a tiny baby was born from the Virgin Mary. Fully God and fully man, but without a sin nature. Holy.

Our hope is not the same as others. It is based on a Living Lord, who has promised NEVER to abandon us. No matter what is going on, (or isn’t going as we wish it was), in our lives we have this Hope that God is Emmanuel and will walk with us. Always. Forever. No matter what.

1 Peter 1:3-6

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you, who by God’s power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. In this you rejoice, though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been grieved by various trials, so that the tested genuineness of your faith—more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire—may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.

When Life Is Difficult

When Life Is Difficult
Your heart cries out, “I am not enough.”
He says, “I know Beloved One, but I am more than enough.”
Your heart cries out, “I can’t fix anything, even myself.”
My Beloved says, “I know, Precious One but I am the One who touches, heals and restores any and every thing.”
Your heart cries out, “I am so alone!”
He responds, “In a sense you truly are alone. And yet, in Truth, you never are alone. For I have promised never to abandon or forsake you.”
Your heart cries out, “I can’t do this.”
And He reminds you, “In Me….and you are in Me…you have all you need for every moment.”
Philippians 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
