Embrace The Moments

Beloved deut 33-12_edited-1

From the Heart of Abba Today
(Christmas may be a time of total JOY but it can also be a time of deep longing.)

Beloved,
When your heart longs,
For those no longer in your life,
For whatever reason,
Remember.

Remember good times and happy times.
But also remember who you are and
Who is ALWAYS delighted to be with you.

During this season, remember that “I AM” is Emmanuel.
Today,
Yesterday,
Tomorrow and,
Forever.

When you see the lights,
Remember “The Light”.
And remember that you are truly,
Never alone.
Even when you feel alone and lonely.

Embrace the moments,
The joy moments,
The longing moments,
The sad moments,
From within your place as “Beloved”.

“May the beloved of the LORD rest secure in Him; God shields him all day long, and upon His shoulders he rests.” Deut. 33:12b

Near to the Brokenhearted

Beloved,
I am near to the brokenhearted.
I hear the silent cries.
I see the unshed tears.
Be comforted in/by My love.

Remember this Precious Child,
No sorrow is wasted.
I am He Who Redeems,
Who Restorers,
Who causes the sorrow to joy exchange.

I am He Who Sees,
Who Knows,
Who Loves,
Who Cares and
Who Walks Beside.

Come to Me.
Anytime.
All the time.
From within any time.

You will find rest for your heart.

Continually Safe

Psalm 73-23

From the Heart of Abba

Beloved,
When the way is unknown
And life is unsure

When suddenly it seems
Everything has shifted

And there is no certainity

Remember this:
I AM is also God With You.

When life is familiar outwardly
Yet forever shifted once again

Your Rock, your Shelter
Has never changed.

“I AM” is your GPS,

My LOVE will guide you
Keep you safe
Then draw you home.

You know the Way home.

The Way is Jesus who is
All you need
Now, tomorrow and Forever.

Rest secure in My love
Which is never angry or unforgiving
Or unacceping of you.

Come just as you are
In any given moment

To receive ALL you need
For every single
Next moment of life.

Lent 40 JoY

joy

Lent 40 JoY
One of my favorite verses is found in Hebrews 12. It says, “for the JOY set before Him, He endured the cross.”

The entire portion says: Hebrews 12:1-2 Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.

Sometimes there are things we simply have to endure. Jesus endured the cross for us. He asked 3 times for that “cup” to be removed and yet added, “Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done.” (Luke 22).

We sure can ask not to need to endure but if we must then somehow we can also do it with JOY. Not giddy-excited-happy-clappy joy but a quiet enduring joy that comes from a heart that KNOWS that no matter WHAT God is WITH us.

As we remember…and look forward to Resurrection Sunday, Lord help us to endure and also teach us what true JOY is. We find JOY when we know that somewhere someone is GLAD to be with us. No matter what.
And help us be that someone for another at times.

Lent 35 Compassion of God

El Rachum .jpg

Lent 35

Have you experienced the compassion of God? Do you NEED to experience His loving compassion?

He is compassionate. Slow to anger and abounding in grace. And because he is, especially once we have experienced God as El Rachum, we then will find it normal to show compassion to others. Not always easy but the norm.

Exodus 33:19 And the LORD said, “I will cause all my goodness to pass in front of you, and I will proclaim my name, the LORD, in your presence. I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.

Isaiah 54:10 For the mountains may depart and the hills be removed, but my steadfast love shall not depart from you, and my covenant of peace shall not be removed,” says the LORD, who has compassion on you.

Colossians 3:12 Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.

Broken Places (Leading into Life)

Broken Hearts
Lives Shattered

Torn Asunder

Meeting Other Hearts
(Also Wounded)
Along this Path
Called “Life”

Touching For a

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.

Aloneness

neveralone

Beloved
Aloneness is a feeling,
And a condition.

In truth at the deepest core
All My children are alone.

Except for one thing,
Those who ARE My children,
Are never really alone.

I come,
My Spirit dwells,
Within that place of aloneness.

It is a holy place,
Where, when opened to Me
Your heart receives,
The deepest acceptance,
Love and,
Belonging,
That is possible to man.

I am with you in the alone times,
In the alone feeling,
And in the place of “aloneness”.

Enough For All We Need

i am that i am.jpg

From the Heart of Abba Today:
Beloved
I AM is with you
In sorrowful times,
I am “I AM”.

In joyful times,
I am “ I AM”.

In every season of life,
I am “I AM”.

Rest in the “I AMness” of God.

You are safe because,
I am “I AM”.
No matter what.
( A lot of people I know are going through difficult times, this is a good reminder that God said he is “I AM” and “I AM” is enough.
