A Trilogy on Bringing Ourselves and “IT”…Whatever “IT” is to HIM

I am

From The Heart of Abba:
A Trilogy on Bringing Ourselves and “IT”…Whatever “IT” is to HIM

Part I

Beloved,
When you are exhausted,
Especially when you are soul or heart weary,
As opposed to physically weary,
That is an invitation,
To stop and simply “be”,
With Me.

No agenda,
Not to study,
Just an invitation to simply come,
And Rest.
Pause and
Remember You ARE Mine.

Part II
Beloved,
When you enter a place,
I also enter that place,
For I AM is with You.

There is no place you go,
No season you endure,
Alone.
You are never alone.

All the days of your life,
“I AM” has been WITH you.

When life on earth is over,
“I AM” will still be with you.

There are times when you are
Aware of My Presence.
There are other times,
When you are,
Unaware that “I AM” is
With you.

In both sorts of times,
“I AM” never changes.

When you feel alone, lonely,
Or any other heart-longing emotion,
Remember “I AM” is there.

In fact, Beloved,
Those emotions are an invitation,
To simply pause,
Quiet your heart,
Your mind,
Your body,
And intentionally “look” for Me.

When you do so,
You will find that “I AM,
Emmanuel is there.

Part III
Beloved,
It is in the stillness that I come.
In the quietness, I come.

The world around you needs not be literally still,
But your heart becomes still.
Your body becomes still.

My spirit rises from within as well as from without.
Your heart suddenly knows that “I Am” is here/ there with you.

No need to speak although you may.

Simply enter a time of restful respite.

As you sit and just allow,
My love to touch and penetrate those famine places.
Living Water will flow,
To wash to cleanse to restore,
To bless and to draw your heart into My embrace.

Many times you have been here but it is not the (literal/tangible) place.
It is the lingering memories,
Where your heart remembers other times and places.
When “I AM” was present with you.

Peace shalom of and from your Abba to and for you…

4-25-15

But God….

trust in the lord

From The Heart Of Abba Today:

I am enough….
When you realize that there is a famine going on…
When your heart cries…”But God don’t you see?”
Remember that indeed I do see.

Not only do I see,
I am bringing you to the spacious place,
Where your heart’s fresh cry will be,
“But God did this for me while I was there”.

Embrace the famine times,
When you can’t embrace the time itself,
Embrace Me and receive My Embrace for your heart.

Abba Father

psalm 73

From The Heart of Abba Today:
Beloved,
You are my child.
I care for you:
Emotionally,
Physically,
Spiritually.
I always want the best for you.

People will misunderstand you,
Abandon you,
Neglect you,
Use you.

I will always:
Be with you,
Be for you,
Be on your side.

I will NEVER abandon you,
Nor forsake you,
For you ARE mine.

I AM your comfort,
Your Strength,
Your very present help,
In times of need,
And times of peace as well.

Be Like The Lily

lily

From The Heart of Abba Today:
When your heart is troubled,
Disturbed,
Restless,
Or in any way other than,
At rest in My Peace,
Pause and be intentional.

Come to Me.
Seek My Face.
Be aware of Me.
In a tangible way.

I created you.
I know you.
I know your heart.
Therefore I know,
How to bring your heart,
Into a secure state,
Of resting in Me.

I am My Love.
You are My Beloved.
Rest in My Peace,
Which is My care,
My provision,
But most of all,
My LOVE.

We do not need to worry or fret or be concerned what others think about us, say about us or do to us. We CAN be secure in His love for us. In other words, we can BE LIKE a LILY.

A Daylily lasts only one day.
During that day it is beautiful.
It feeds the bees and butterflies.
It brings forth seed pods for the future.
And for sure it does not worry about how it is going to do all that in just ONE day.
God created it. God planned for it. It’s lovely just being a Daylily and doing what a Daylily does.

How can we do that? By learning how to be intentional about RESTING in Christ. Resting in who He created us to be. Learning how to go to Him when our hearts are disturbed. Even when we have forgotten to do so for a time. Even when we have stumbled and sinned.

Hosea 14 speaks of Israel, but we are Israel. Israel has turned and followed false gods, which are no God at all really. In Hosea 14 the prophet is telling them to turn back to God.
Hosea 14:1-7 & 9
A Plea to Return to the LORD

Return, O Israel, to the LORD your God,
for you have stumbled because of your iniquity.

Take with you words
and return to the LORD;
say to him,
“Take away all iniquity;
accept what is good,
and we will pay with bulls
the vows of our lips.

Assyria shall not save us;
we will not ride on horses;
and we will say no more, ‘Our God,’
to the work of our hands.
In you the orphan finds mercy.”

I will heal their apostasy;
I will love them freely,
for my anger has turned from them.
I will be like the dew to Israel;
he shall blossom like the lily;
he shall take root like the trees of Lebanon;
his shoots shall spread out;
his beauty shall be like the olive,
and his fragrance like Lebanon.

They shall return and dwell beneath my shadow;
they shall flourish like the grain;
they shall blossom like the vine;
their fame shall be like the wine of Lebanon.

9 Whoever is wise, let him understand these things;
whoever is discerning, let him know them;
for the ways of the LORD are right,
and the upright walk in them,
but transgressors stumble in them.

In Matthew 6:25-34 we are given some great instruction for those times when we tend to fret or worry about life.

“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?

Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?

Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life ?

“And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.

If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith?

So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

So often we try to do things our way. We try to fix things for ourselves and others. The better thing might be to simply be intentional about going to God and RESTING in Who He is and who we are in Him.
We can “be like a lily”.

Trust, Lean, Rely

IMG_6053From the Heart of Abba Today

Sometimes our path appears a lot like this snow/ice covered driveway, slippery, dangerous and no good choice evident.

Thinking about that this morning I discovered the SAME verse in two very different places.

2 kings 18:21 says, “Behold, you are relying on Egypt, that broken reed of a staff; if a man leans on it, it will pierce his hand. So is Pharaoh king of Egypt to all who trust and rely on him.”

Again in Isaiah 36:6 the same thing, “Behold, you trust in the staff of this bruised and broken reed, Egypt, which will pierce the hand of any man who leans on it. So is Pharaoh king of Egypt to all who trust and rely on him.”

That reminded me of the verse which says, “Some trust in and boast of chariots and some of horses, but we will trust in and boast of the name of the Lord our God ( Psalm 20:7).

When I looked THAT one up I noticed Isaiah 31:1 Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help, who rely on horses and trust in chariots because they are many and in horsemen because they are very strong, but they look not to the Holy One of Israel, nor seek and consult the Lord!

Then on to Proverbs 3:6 which is on the poster.
All of that arose from prayer/quiet time when He reminded me “Beloved the cure is to trust lean and rely on Me”

So how do we do that? By coming/going to Him over and over during the course of the day. By being intentional to nurture our spirits in a way that brings life to us. By turning and returning over and over and over.

Fear Not

From the Heart of Abba:

Fear is not from/of Me.

But that does not mean,
That you stand condemned,
When fear arises.

It is simply an invitation to come,
Lean and rest.
Allow Love to penetrate.
Allow Peace to calm.
I am with you,
Right now and at all times.

Changed Heart

psalm 139

From the Heart of Abba Today:

Marvelous are Your works,
And that my soul knows very well……

Stop this morning and begin to praise God and just see what happens.
if you can not even begin to do that simply read a Psalm of praise aloud, sing a song or simply go look into the sky.

Hearts are changed,
Moods are lifted,
Circumstances receive a new outlook,
When we begin to meditate on the wonder of God.

Psalm 139 says, I will praise you for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. (v14)
We may not feel like we are fearfully and wonderfully made today.
If so imagine a laughing baby.
You are just that adorable to your Father, God.
Amazing isn’t it?
Almost too good to be true.

Almost too good to be true.

Happy Blessed Resurrection Sunday

happy Easter

Remember Who I am.
Remember Who you are.
Remember the cross.
Remember to LIVE,
In My love.
 You ARE My Beloved.
All I ask of you,
Is to believe in Me,
And simply “be”,
Who I created you to be.
When you live in My love,
Living Water love from Me,
Will pour forth to touch others.
Remember that “I AM”,
Emmanuel,
Loves YOU.
Easter 2015
John 6:28-29 Therefore they said to Him, “What shall we do, so that we may work the works of God?” Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He has sent.”
