Whispers of Rest

I am reading a book by Bonnie Gray called Whispers of Rest. It is really good. She has been challenging us to rediscover our dreams and/or begin to dream. At this season of life, which is very new and fragile in a way, I am learning to live again.

From the Heart of Abba Today:

 

This is the dream for now.

To REST in Me,

To come and continue to come to Me

From within every single moment of life.

To live as Beloved.

No need to measure up, get it right or figure “it” out.

Safe and secure.

To simply “be”,

Who you already are….

God Shall Supply

My God shall supply all my needs:

For the lonely one,
Comfort.

For the physically ill,
Healing.

For the one whose heart is hurting,
Tenderness.

For all who seek God,
Revelation and redemption.

Philippians 4:19 ESV And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

Rest vs Frazzled

We were at worship Sunday and singing this song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eFByOX8Fb0M and the Lord began to remind my heart:

When you are tired of/from standing,
Weary from the race,
That is not a bad thing,
Or an indication that you have been bad.

It is rather an invitation to lay down and enter My rest.
Literally lay down,
Or choose a place to sit that creates rest in your spirit.

It is simply time to hide all that is you, in the shelter of the Most High, under the shelter of My wings.

Verses to Ponder:
In Luke 10:41-42 Martha is harried and worried from doing and Jesus speaks to her, I think cutting right to her true heart need and says, “But the Lord answered her, “Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things, but one thing is necessary. Mary has chosen the good portion, which will not be taken away from her.”
And that one thing is to simply “be” with Jesus, resting all that we are in all that He is.

Psalm 91:4 He will cover you with his pinions, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness is a shield and buckler.

Matthew 11:28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

Exodus 33:14 14 The LORD replied, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”

Psalm 46:10 He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”

This Is THE Day

From The Heart of Abba:

Beloved Ones, this is the day I have given you.
Yesterday and all the yesterdays before, were also gifts.

Often there is a time of preparation leading up to “this day”.
Even the most difficult days or seasons are PREPARATION for “this day” and all it will bring.

Beloved, because a thing is difficult or takes a long time, do not for one moment consider yourself a failure or that I have abandoned you in any way.

All of life is a process of revealing to you
That which needs either to be exposed, revealed or healed,
In your own heart.

In order that,
In the fullness of time,
My will will be accomplished (manifested).
In you, to you, for you AND for others as well.

Rest in Me…
Rest in My love…
Do not fear…
Do not withhold or withdraw your heart from Mine.

I AM is Emmanuel… for you, in you and with you…
Forever, all the days of your life.
And yes, each and every moment of your life as well.

Philippians 4:6-7 AMP 6 Do not be anxious or worried about anything, but in everything [every circumstance and situation] by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, continue to make your [specific] requests known to God. 7 And the peace of God [that peace which reassures the heart, that peace] which transcends all understanding, [that peace which] stands guard over your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus [is yours].

God Has Gone Before

Everything is preparation.
Even for this season there has already been preparation.
Nothing is wasted.
Everything is used ultimately for your good.
Do not worry do not fret.
Do not become anxious during any season.

The Lord your God,
The One who created you,
The one who loves you,
Is always with you.

I am He who goes before.
I am He who encompasses you .
I am He who prepares the way.
I am He who says,
“This is the way walk in it”.
I am all you need because.
“I Am” that I am
And “I Am” is Emmanuel.
