Stay With Me

stay here with me

When your heart is longing for (you know not what),
When life is simply too big for you to bear,
When all that is “you”,
Cries out to All He is (El Shaddai)
“I can’t”,
He understands.
He has done the same.

When Jesus was in the Garden and asked them to stay with him,
His plea to His disciples was simply “stay here….with me”. We see that in Matthew 26:38. Some versions say tarry, or keep watch but he is asking for and needing human companionship. Sometimes life is just too much for us to go through alone. We need someone to “stay with me” or “keep watch with me” or “tarry with me”.
Of course God does that always but sometimes a person is nice too.

“My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow
to the point of death.
‘Stay here…with me.'”
Jesus in Matthew 26:38

Sometimes when our hearts are overwhelmed it is hard to even remain in a place of connection to our own heart or the heart of God. It is hard to “stay with” another during those times too. But that is such a gift.

God’s Love For Us

From The Heart of Abba Today:

Beloved,

Where ever you go,
I am already there.

When you forget that I AM is with you,
Pause and ask for Me,
To reveal Myself to you.

In the very act of pausing,
Your heart will remember,
That I AM is Immanuel.
God With You.
All the time,
Within all times,
For all time.

Nothing can separate you,
From My love.
I love you with an eternal love.
My love is not contingent,
Upon any action or inaction,
On your part.

Your ability to perceive and receive,
My love will wax and wane.
My love is steady and unchanging,
Just because you are,
My child.

Be Who GOD Created You To Be

just be

From The Heart Of Abba Today

(Feb 2 during Whitey’s Bible Study)

When you truly go,                                                                                                                From being who the world says you are,

Or defining yourself as the world has defined you,
And step into your true identity,
As My child,
A child of God,
That is the beginning,
Of the freedom,
For which I came to set you free.
It is not the end.
It is the beginning,
Of full rich abundant life in Me,
Which I have promised to you.
Beloved, draw a line in time,
At this very moment.
Step into,
And embrace fully,
With your whole heart,
Being and at the same time becoming,
Who I truly created you to be.
Notes and Thoughts
Wow. That is resurrection in a sense into being and becoming who God himself planned created and designed you to be.
Resurrected into new life, but it is the life God planned before the creation of the world.
Carrying your identity with you rather than attempting to create an identity.
Wow! ONE CREATOR ( GOD), who created us with a design and plan in mind. Not our own creation.
Instead ( of stepping into who God designed us to be) we create our identity. We do that rather than step into the one we  were created for.
Another way to say it is, we were created to “be”, to discover who we are. But we don’t realize that and instead we try to fit in here, and fit in there. We make ourselves who we think we “should” be.
That is idolatry and rejection of God’s best for us.
Resurrected with him as we change and surrender.
When we are resurrected into new life we are beginning the process of being called to life.
Resurrecting or more being resurrected by God to be who he created us to be and do what he created us to do.
It’s like the seed in the natural, the seed has ALL that is needed to become what it was created to become.
We HAVE all we need, but instead of trust, leaning and relying on God, we take over and try to figure it out.
Psalm 139:15-16 My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.
Jeremaih 29:11-14a For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart, I will be found by you, declares the LORD,
2 Peter 1:3 His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence,
